What is lip cavitation?
Lipo cavitation is a weight loss treatment but unlike during lipo suction your not poked, prodded or injected at all. instead lipo cavitation is done using a ultrasound device and high frequency waves to achieve inch loss in desired areas and is great to reduce cellulite.
The science behind it...
The ultrasound device is designed to only target certain fat cells and when the ultrasonic waves are introduced to a certain area they damage the fat cell membrane and breaks down the fat cell pocket, pushing it into the lymph system of which then passes through the body and releases into the urine.
which is why drinking lots of water is essential for ultimate inch loss!
What happens during the treatment?
During the treatment a jelly lubricant is applied onto the desired area to be worked on and then the ultrasound machine is placed onto the area and worked on thoroughly using a deep massage like movement. The treatment takes approximately 30-45 minutes depending on the area.
Does it hurt?
No! Not at all, No part of the treatment is painful you just might get a slight buzz in your ears whilst your being worked on.
There are no side affects to having lipo cavitation.
What areas can I have done?
The most common is the stomach but most areas from the chest down can be worked on.
Its great to help you shift those stubborn areas you just cant get rid of and for cesarean scaring too!
What do I need to do?
Drink plenty of water! at least doubling your current daily intake, and some form of exercise that gets your heart rate up for at least 15 minutes after your lipo cavitation session.
What sort of results can I expect?
It really depends on you. I expect you to loose at least 6 inches from 3 treatments.
How many treatments will I need?
I always recommend to do a course of at least 3 treatments to see results and feel the full benefit. The sessions need to be done on a regular interval of once a week or sometimes this can be done twice a week.
Its always best to have a consultation first to discuss your needs.
